Superimposed Perfect Binary Array-Aided Channel Estimation for OTFS Systems. [PDF]

open access: yesEntropy (Basel), 2023
Orthogonal time-frequency space (OTFS) modulation outperforms orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing in high-mobility scenarios through better channel estimation.

Digital modulation method based on perfect binary arrays [PDF]

open access: yesTrudy Odesskogo Politehničeskogo Universiteta, 2014
The aim is to develop the method of information transfer using perfect binary arrays, which is based on their structural and correlation properties. The properties of the equivalence class of perfect binary arrays are presented and proved in the paper ...

Perfect binary arrays with 36 elements

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1987
The letter presents a new two-dimensional binary array with a perfect periodic autocorrelation function (PACF). Four decompositions of the new array in two-, three- and four-dimensional arrays with the same property are shown. These can be applied, for example, in time-frequency coding, two-dimensional synchronisation and image coding.

Perfect binary arrays and difference sets

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1994
Ingenuous elementary constructions are given to get perfect binary arrays \[ \text{PBA}(2^ y,2^ y),\quad \text{PBA}(2^{y+1}, 2^{y-1}), \quad \text{PBA}(2^ y\cdot 3, 2^ y\cdot 3), \quad \text{and} \quad \text{PBA}(2^{y+1}\cdot 3, 2^{y-1}\cdot 3). \] The basic idea is to use particular compositions of a \(\text{PBA}(s,t)\) and a ``rowwise quasiperfect ...

Binary sequence/array pairs via diference set pairs: A recursive approach [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions on Combinatorics, 2017
Binary array pairs with optimal/ideal correlation values and their algebraic counterparts textquotedblleft difference set pairstextquotedblright;(DSPs) in abelian groups are studied‎. ‎In addition to generalizing known 1-dimensional (sequences) examples‎,

Formation of binary magnon polaron in a two-dimensional artificial magneto-elastic crystal

open access: yesNPG Asia Materials, 2023
We observed strong tripartite magnon-phonon-magnon coupling in a two-dimensional periodic array of magnetostrictive nanomagnets deposited on a piezoelectric substrate, forming a 2D magnetoelastic “crystal”; the coupling occurred between two Kittel-type ...

Certification of the efficient random number generation technique based on single‐photon detector arrays and time‐to‐digital converters

open access: yesIET Quantum Communication, 2021
True random number generators (TRNGs) allow the generation of true random bit sequences, guaranteeing the unpredictability and perfect balancing of the generated values.

Development of an error correction method using perfect binary arrays

open access: yesEastern-European Journal of Enterprise Technologies, 2023
The research focuses on an innovative error correction method that uses perfect binary arrays (PBAs), a powerful mathematical tool with unique properties that make it ideal for error correction. The research is aimed at studying the impact of uncorrelated mixed-type errors in the data exchange path, which allows using it in smart technologies with ...

THE CLASS OF PERFECT TERNARY ARRAYS

open access: yesСистемный анализ и прикладная информатика, 2018
In recent decades, perfect algebraic constructions are successfully being use to signal systems synthesis, to construct block and stream cryptographic algorithms, to create pseudo-random sequence generators as well as in many other fields of science and ...

Paying the Price? An Investigation Into the Continued Decline of Part-time Higher Education in England

open access: yesFields, 2019
Part-time study represents a significant segment of the UK higher education sector accounting for almost half of all university enrolments at its peak in 2004, yet since then the different modes of study (full-time/part-time) have followed very different
