An adaptive algorithm for digital predistortion
2006 10th IEEE Singapore International Conference on Communication Systems, 2006This article presents an adaptive digital predistortion (DPD) for linearizing RF power amplifiers (PA). The idea is to use nonlinear curve-fitting in conjunction with the look-up table to adaptively pre-adjust the gain and the phase of the input data before it is fed to the amplifier. Baseband Digital Predistorter with Quadrature Error Correction
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2005In this paper simulation and measurement results of a FPGA implementation of a baseband digital complex gain predistorter with a quadrature modulator error correction algorithm are presented. In the measurements a 40 dB three stage power ampli er chain with an analog quadrature modulator and demodulator was used as the device to be predistorted.
