Lora Digital Receiver Analysis and Implementation [PDF]

open access: yesICASSP 2019 - 2019 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2019
Low power wide area network technologies (LPWANs) are attracting attention because they fulfill the need for long range low power communication for the Internet of Things. LoRa is one of the proprietary LPWAN physical layer (PHY) technologies, which provides variable data-rate and long range by using chirp spread spectrum modulation.

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Intra-Pulse Modulation Recognition for Fractional Bandlimited Signals Based on a Modified MWC-Based Digital Receiver

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper, we present a modified modulated wideband converter (MWC)-based digital receiver for fractional bandlimited signals, and further propose an intra-pulse modulation recognition method in discrete time fractional Fourier domain (DTFrFD) for ...

DC Restoration by Data-Aided Sequence in Kramers-Kronig Receiver

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2022
In recent years, Kramers-Kronig (KK) receiver has been widely studied because of its simple structure and the ability of digital signal processing (DSP) to recover complex value signals.

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

A Digital Twin Based Real-Time Parameter Identification for Mutual Inductance and Load of Wireless Power Transfer Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
The transmitter and receiver for wireless power transfer (WPT) need information interaction to achieve optimal efficiency if the mutual inductance and load are movable.

A digital-receiver for the MurchisonWidefield Array [PDF]

open access: yesExperimental Astronomy, 2015
An FPGA-based digital-receiver has been developed for a low-frequency imaging radio interferometer, the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA). The MWA, located at the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO) in Western Australia, consists of 128 dual-polarized aperture-array elements (tiles) operating between 80 and 300\,MHz, with a total processed ...

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

Intermediate Frequency Digital Receiver Based on Multi-FPGA System

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2016
Aiming at high-cost, large-size, and inflexibility problems of traditional analog intermediate frequency receiver in the aerospace telemetry, tracking, and command (TTC) system, we have proposed a new intermediate frequency (IF) digital receiver based on

Discerning protein pools by selective staining with self‐labeling tags

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cell surface proteins have an intra‐ and extracellular pool. Combining genetic fusion to self‐labeling tags that can be addressed with small molecule fluorophores allows separating these pools. We highlight recent developments and techniques for state‐of‐the‐art interrogation of cell surface proteins in the complex tissue setting.
