Using LDGM Codes and Sparse Syndromes to Achieve Digital Signatures

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we address the problem of achieving efficient code-based digital signatures with small public keys. The solution we propose exploits sparse syndromes and randomly designed low-density generator matrix codes.

The effect of salubrinal on the endoplasmic reticulum stress pathway in heat‐stressed spermatogonial cells in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This study investigates the protective role of salubrinal against heat‐induced endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in mouse spermatogenic cells (GC1 and GC2). By modulating the ER stress pathway, salubrinal alleviates cellular stress and supports spermatogenic cell survival, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic candidate for heat‐related infertility.

Smaller public keys for MinRank-based schemes

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Cryptology
MinRank is an NP-complete problem in linear algebra whose characteristics make it attractive to build post-quantum cryptographic primitives. Several MinRank-based digital signature schemes have been proposed.

An Adaptive Profile-Based Approach for Detecting Anomalous Traffic in Backbone

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Anomaly detection is the first step with a challenging task of securing a communication network, as the anomalies may indicate suspicious behaviors, attacks, network malfunctions, or failures.

Improving the Performance of the Picnic Signature Scheme

open access: yesTransactions on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems, 2020
Picnic is a digital signature algorithm designed to provide security against attacks by quantum computers. The design uses only symmetric-key primitives, and is an efficient instantiation of the MPC-in-the-head paradigm.

A Blockchain-Based Digital Asset Platform with Multi-Party Certification

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
Assets such as warehouse receipts are important for enterprises, which can be used to pledge in supply chain finance (SCF). However, traditional pledges are performed manually, which inevitably encounters inefficiency and security problems such as ...

Are Online Business Transactions Executed by Electronic Signatures Legally Binding? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Most of us believe that we make contracts over the Internet all the time. We buy books and computers, arrange for hotels and planes, trade stocks, and apply for mortgages.

Detection of Far Infrared Emission from Galaxies and Quasars in the Galactic Extinction Map by Stacking Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We have performed stacking image analyses of galaxies over the Galactic extinction map constructed by Schlegel, Finkbeiner & Davis (1998). We select ~10^7 galaxies in total from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) DR7 photometric catalog. We detect clear

The Relationship Between Inflammation and Central Nervous System in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune demyelination disease that is seen especially in the young population and has a progressive course, causing motor, sensory, and cognitive deficits. In the literature, the pathogenesis of MS disease and the interconnection between the immune and central nervous system in the disease have not been fully ...
