Digital watermarking of still images with gray-level digital watermarks

IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, 2000
Digital watermarking has been presented in the literature as a technique to protect the copyright of multimedia data. But most of these literature concentrates on algorithms of embedding one-dimensional watermarks or two-dimensional binary digital watermarks. In this paper, a method of embedding a gray-level digital watermark into an image is proposed.

A digital watermark

Proceedings of 1st International Conference on Image Processing, 2002
The paper discusses the feasibility of coding an "undetectable" digital water mark on a standard 512/spl times/512 intensity image with an 8 bit gray scale. The watermark is capable of carrying such information as authentication or authorisation codes, or a legend essential for image interpretation.

Digital watermarking for digital cinema

SPIE Proceedings, 2009
Changing the distribution channel of movies from analogue to digital provides new perspectives and possibilities for applying digital watermarking as security mechanisms. Digital watermarking provides its best security options when used for individual marking of copies to trace back distribution leaks.

A watermark for digital images

Proceedings of 3rd IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2002
The growth of networked multimedia systems has magnified the need for image copyright protection. One approach used to address this problem is to add an invisible structure to an image that can be used to seal or mark it. These structures are known as digital watermarks. We describe two techniques for the invisible marking of images.

Framework for digital video watermarking with dual watermarks

SPIE Proceedings, 2002
This paper presents a video watermarking scheme for copyright notification and protection. Each video frame is clustered into high motion and low motion regions. Dual watermarks are designed by exploiting video motion, perceptual characteristics, and some other informative cues.

Digital watermarking of still images with color digital watermarks

IEEE EUROCON 2009, 2009
Digital Watermarking is a popular tool for copyright protection, content authentication, detection of illegal duplication and alteration, feature tagging and secret communication. In this paper, a method of embedding a color image as digital watermark into a host image is proposed.

Digital Watermarking

2005
In order to solve intellectual property problems of the digital age, two basic procedures are used: “buy and drop,” linked to the destruction of various peer-to-peer solutions and “subpoena and fear,” as the creation of nonnatural social fear by specific legislations. Although customers around the world are willing to buy digital products over networks,
