Towards Digitally-Mediated Sign Language Communication
Proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Human-Agent Interaction, 2019This paper presents our efforts towards building an architecture for digitally-mediated sign language communication. Surrogates selectively collect and present awareness information about the people they represent. By having them react to physical actions of people, surrogates can control the communication capabilities of a media space.
