The Insistence of Blackness and the Persistence of Antiblackness in Ireland

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper positions Ireland as a critical site for examining the insistence of blackness and an antiblackness created and sustained through Irish ethnonationalist imaginaries and exclusionary processes. Corporate social responsibility: Does it really matter in the luxury context?

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Volume 30, Issue 1, Page 105-118, January 2023., 2023
Abstract The impact of CSR in the luxury sector has been less investigated than in the non‐luxury context, and the findings in the luxury context are not unidirectional. GABAergic modulation of beta power enhances motor adaptation in frontotemporal lobar degeneration

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, EarlyView.
Abstract INTRODUCTION We examined how abnormal prefrontal neurophysiology and changes in gamma‐aminobutyric acid‐ergic (GABAergic) neurotransmission contribute to behavioral impairments in disorders associated with frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD). METHODS We recorded magnetoencephalography during an adaptive visuomotor task from 11 people with

In vivo toxic and lethal cardiorespiratory effects of a synthetic quaternary ammonium salt derivative of haloperidol in mice

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Hematoxylin–eosin (H&E) stains of the heart, liver, lung, and kidney show acute toxicity. Abstract Background To investigate the toxicity of N‐n‐butyl haloperidol iodide (F2), a quaternary ammonium salt derivative of haloperidol, in mice for potential therapeutic purposes. Methods The acute median lethal dose (LD50) of F2 was determined using the Bliss

Use of laryngeal muscle evoked potential recording for experimental vagus nerve stimulation

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Laryngeal muscle evoked potentials (LMEPs) reflect the activation of laryngeal muscles induced by vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) via vagal Aα‐motor fibers. LMEP recordings are minimally invasive and provide a feasible, reliable method for assessing the integrity of the electrode‐nerve interface during experimental VNS in rodents.
