Microbial Odorant Detection Guides Drosophila Parasitoids Seeking Hosts in Fermenting Fruits
Yeast microbes in fermenting fruits attract both host flies and their parasitoid wasps. Female Leptopilina boulardi detect yeast‐emitted ethyl esters via two olfactory receptors, LbouOR167 and LbouOR136. A conserved residue, Leu159, is critical for binding these compounds, enabling female wasps to locate host‐rich habitats.

DNA Nanoarray for Multiplexed RNA Detection With Single‐Molecule Readout
A carrier‐based DNA nanoarray integrates programmable nucleic acid hybridization with solid‐state nanopore readout for direct RNA detection at single‐molecule resolution. A ternary encoding system enables 27 carriers with 81 addressable sensing sites, allowing the simultaneous identification of targets spanning a wide size range, from short microRNAs ...

Interrupting digitization and thinking about text or digitization and the form of digital text
Enthusiasm for digitization hides the complexity of processes involved and the significance of the cultural changes achieved in our time. Itʹs worth examining again the ways in which we usually see the digital, often considered as an interruption of the ...

A “de‐doping” strategy positions mixed protonic–electronic conductors (MPECs) as adaptive neuromorphic platforms with dynamically tunable transport. Co‐BAND achieves giant conductivity modulation (>106) and chemically tunable synaptic plasticity. Analogous to biological neuromodulation, solvent vapors dynamically reprogram the device's learning rules ...
