1-Acetyl-2-r,6-c-bis(4-chlorophenyl)-3-methyl-1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridin-4-yl acetate
In the title compound, C22H21Cl2NO3, the pyridine ring adopts a half-chair conformation and the 4-chlorophenyl groups occupy axial positions. The 4-chlorophenyl groups are almost perpendicular to the plane of the tetrahydropyridine ring forming dihedral ...

A Multi‐Stimuli Transformational Network of Benzil‐Based Pd(II) Assemblies
Incorporation of a flexible and chemically reactive benzil backbone into the ligand structure allows it to access multiple conformations, enabling the formation of diverse homo‐ and heteroleptic Pd(II) assemblies with different nuclearities and topologies.

Azole γ‐Peptides Helix Switching via Heterocycle Substitutions
Heterocycle substitution in azole‐based γ‐amino acids enables control over the helical shape of heterocyclic γ‐peptides. S↔N permutation in thiazole residues switches a canonical 9‐helix into a flexible helix exhibiting discontinuous hydrogen bonding.

2,3-Dicyano-4-[(4-methylphenylsulfonyl)oxy]phenyl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate
In the title compound, C22H16N2O6S2, the dihedral angle formed by the mean planes of the two benzene rings of the 4-methylphenylsulfonate groups is 21.9 (1)° and these rings form dihedral angles of 48.26 (9) and 52.73& ...

Smooth skew morphisms of the dihedral groups
A skew-morphism $φ$ of a finite group $A$ is a permutation on $A$ such that $φ(1)=1$ and $φ(xy)=φ(x)φ^{π(x)}(y)$ for all $x,y\in A$ where $π:A\to\mathbb{Z}_{|φ|}$ is an integer function. A skew-morphism is smooth if $π(φ(x))=π(x)$ for all $x\in A$. The concept of smooth skew-morphisms is a generalization of that of $t$-balanced skew-morphisms.
