Apoptotic Vesicles Derived from Mesenchymal Stem Cells Ameliorate Hypersensitivity Responses via Inducing CD8+ T Cells Apoptosis with Calcium Overload and Mitochondrial Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The therapeutic potential of ApoVs derived from stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED‐ApoVs) in the treatment of CD8+ T cell‐mediated hypersensitivity reactions is noteworthy. SHED‐ApoVs are capable of fusing with the plasma membrane of CD8+ T cells, which subsequently triggers a series of events characterized by calcium overload ...

Congenital Segmental Intestinal Dilatation: A 25-Year Review with Long-Term Follow-up at the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Perinatology Reports, 2019
Background and Aim Congenital segmental intestinal dilatation (CSID) is a neonatal condition with unclear etiology and pathogenesis. Typically, the newborn with CSID presents with a limited (circumscribed) bowel dilatation, an abrupt transition between ...

Unital Dilations of Completely Positive Semigroups [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2013
Dilations of completely positive semigroups to endomorphism semigroups have been studied by numerous authors. Most existing dilation theorems involve a non-unital embedding, corresponding to the embedding of $B(H)$ as a corner of $B(K)$ for Hilbert spaces $H \subset K$. A 1986 paper of Jean-Luc Sauvageot shows how to achieve a unital dilation, but does

Regular Dilation on Graph Products of $\mathbb{N}$ [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
We extended the definition of regular dilation to graph products of $\mathbb{N}$, which is an important class of quasi-lattice ordered semigroups. Two important results in dilation theory are unified under our result: namely, Brehmer's regular dilation on $\mathbb{N}^k$ and Frazho-Bunce-Popescu's dilation of row contractions.

Integrating Spatial and Single‐Nucleus Transcriptomic Data to Assess the Effects of Intrauterine Hyperglycemia on Fetal Pancreatic Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Maternal pregestational diabetes mellitus (PGDM) induced metabolic stress in fetal mice pancreas, alongside significantly decreased insulin secretion, altered cell‐cell communication, and distinct changes in cellular niches. Abstract Maternal pregestational diabetes mellitus (PGDM) can lead to adverse fetal outcomes, including lasting impacts on ...
