Cross‐Scale Hierarchical Targeted Delivery System Based on Small‐Scale Magnetic Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article reviews a cross‐scale hierarchical targeted delivery system that integrates magnetic continuum robots and magnetic microrobots. By combining rapid long‐range navigation with precise microscale targeting, the system overcomes key limitations of single‐scale approaches.

Flow-mediated dilatation facilitates transradial coronary angiography: a comparative study [PDF]

open access: yes
Introduction: Radial artery (RA) spasm is demonstrated to be one of the most common complications of transradial approach (TRA). Aim: We hypothesised that radial flow-mediated dilation (FMD) can be used as a preprocedural method to assess the likelihood ...

MicroRoboScope: A Portable and Integrated Mechatronic Platform for Magnetic and Acoustic Microrobotic Experimentation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents the MicroRoboScope, a highly integrated, compact, and portable microrobotic experimentation platform combining electromagnetic and acoustic actuation with real‐time visual feedback into a single, end‐to‐end device. The system enables closed‐loop control and tracking algorithm experimentation within an accessible and unified hardware ...

Task‐Oriented Path Planning Towards Autonomous Sensor Network Deployment in Rainforest Canopies

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
An informative path planner for drone‐based deployment of wireless sensor networks in rainforest canopies is presented, addressing key challenges in large‐scale biodiversity monitoring. By integrating canopy surface detection with connectivity‐aware sampling under strict flight constraints, the approach enables efficient and reliable aerial sensor ...

A prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, multicenter study of the effects of irbesartan on aortic dilatation in Marfan syndrome (AIMS trial): study protocol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Cardiovascular complications are the leading cause of mortality and morbidity in Marfan syndrome (MFS), a dominantly inherited disorder caused by mutations in the gene that encodes fibrillin-1.
