Selective Synthesis of N,N‐Dimethylformamide From CO2 Hydrogenation Coupled With Dimethylamine Over a ZnZrOx Solid‐Solution Catalyst

open access: yesCarbon and Hydrogen, EarlyView.
N‐formylation of dimethylamine though CO2 hydrogenation takes place at a ZnZrOx solid‐solution catalyst surface toward N,N‐dimethylformamide. By synergistic effect of Zn and Zr sites, the catalyst achieves 99% DMF selectivity at 14% DMA conversion at 280°C with at least 1000 h stability on steam.

Structure–activity relationship investigation of benzamide and picolinamide derivatives containing dimethylamine side chain as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors

open access: yesJournal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry, 2018
A series of benzamide and picolinamide derivatives containing dimethylamine side chain (4a–4c and 7a–7i) were synthesised and evaluated for acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) inhibitory activity in vitro.

5-Dimethylamino-1-phenylchromeno[2,3-c]pyrazol-4(1H)-one

open access: yesMolbank, 2010
The title compound was prepared by treatment of 5-fluoro-1-phenylchromeno [2,3-c]pyrazol-4(1H)-one with aqueous dimethylamine. Detailed spectroscopic data (1H NMR, 13C NMR, 15N NMR, IR, MS) are presented.

Synthetic Cathepsin B Sensitive Adjuvant‐Peptide Conjugates to Target Intracellular Toll‐Like Receptors 7 and 8

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
Cathepsin B‐sensitive peptide–adjuvant conjugates are designed, synthesized, and evaluated to deliver an antigenic peptid and an adjuvant targeting Toll‐like receptors 7 and 8 (TLR7/8) to antigen presenting cells. The adjuvant is released by cathepsin B resulting in antigen presentation and TLR mediated T cell activation.

Measurement report: Urban ammonia and amines in Houston, Texas [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Chemistry and Physics
Ammonia and amines play critical roles in secondary aerosol formation, especially in urban environments. However, fast measurements of ammonia and amines in the atmosphere are very scarce.

Defect Suppression via Tailoring Functionalized Additives for Efficient and Stable CsPbI3 Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
This study proposed a structure‐designed benzohydrazide derivative, namely 4‐methoxybenzohydrazide (MeOBH), as an additive to regulate crystallization, passivate defects, optimize energy‐level structure, and enhance phase stability of β‐CsPbI3 perovskite films.

Rational Design of Inverted F‐Type Heterojunctions for Photocatalytic Emerging Contaminant Degradation

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
The inverted F‐type ZnWO4/In2S3 heterojunction enables efficient charge separation and retention of strong oxidative capability through interfacial electric field regulation, leading to non‐toxic degradation of contaminants for sustainable water treatment.

Highly Potent Fluorogenic Ligands for Triplex DNA: 5‐Substituted 2‐(Naphthalen‐2‐yl)‐4H‐Chromen‐4‐Ones

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
5‐Substituted 2‐(naphthalen‐2‐yl)‐4H‐chromen‐4‐ones are reported as a novel class of highly potent and selective triplex DNA ligands. These ligands induce triplex formation at submicromolar concentrations and inhibit enzymatic activity via ligand‐mediated triplex formation.

6-Chloro-2,4-bis(dimethylamino)-1,3,5-trimethylborazine

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2013
The borazine ring of the title molecule, C7H21B3ClN5, shows a mild distortion from a planar to a flattened boat conformation. Steric effects due to the methyl and dimethylamine substituents appear to be the cause of this distortion.

Enantioselectivity in Transition Metal Catalyzed Propargylic Substitution Reactions: A Theoretical Perspective

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Recent theoretical efforts to elucidate the origin of enantioselectivity in transition metal‐catalyzed propargylic substitution reactions are highlighted in this review. ABSTRACT In recent years, asymmetric catalytic propargylic substitution reactions have undergone remarkable development, enabling the construction of chiral carbon centers adjacent to ...
