Overcoming the Stability Issue for Hydrophobic Hole Transporting Layers Utilized in Tin‐Lead Perovskite and Tandem Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A non‐annealed process is developed for non‐PEDOT:PSS inverted tin‐lead perovskite solar cells to attain PCE 22.67% for the PTAA‐based device. When PTAA is applied in an all‐perovskite tandem solar cell, a record efficiency of 28.14% is obtained with great stability for the efficiency maintaining 96% of its original value for 500 h under one‐sun ...

Role of Histidine‐Containing Peptoids in Accelerating the Kinetics of Calcite Growth

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Amphiphilic histidine‐containing peptoids mimic carbonic anhydrase (CA) to accelerate calcite step growth. In the presence of Zn2+, they promote the deprotonation of HCO3−, the desolvation of Ca2+, and the reorganization of interfacial hydration layers, thereby reducing the activation barrier for calcite growth.

Aqua(3-formyl-2-oxidobenzoato-κ2O1,O2)(1,10-phenanthroline-κ2N,N′)copper(II) dimethylformamide solvate

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2009
In the structure of the title complex, [Cu(C8H4O4)(C12H8N2)(H2O)]·C3H7NO, the CuII ion is pentacoordinated in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry by two O atoms of a 3-formyl-2-oxidobenzoate dianion and two N atoms of a 1,10-phenanthroline ...

Installation of internal electric fields by non-redox active cations in transition metal complexes. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Local electric fields contribute to the high selectivity and catalytic activity in enzyme active sites and confined reaction centers in zeolites by modifying the relative energy of transition states, intermediates and/or products.

Photoconductivity‐Driven Quantum Efficiency Gain in Inorganic Ruddlesden‐Popper Layered Cs2PbBr2I2 Perovskite Photodetector for Visible Light Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Rational halogen mixing strategy was employed to shift the bandgap of Cs2PbBr2I2 from ultraviolet to visible region, enabling first realization of a visible‐light photodetector with this 2D layered Ruddlesden‐Popper perovskite material. Under illumination, light‐induced internal field forms and drives trap‐mediated persistent photoconductivity ...

Study of the influence of forming conditions on the properties of gel-fibers from copolymers of acrylonitrile, methyl acrylate and 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid

open access: yesVestnik of Vitebsk State Technological University
The aim of the work is to study the effect of the acid comonomer content and forming conditions on the dyeability of gel fibers based on copolymers of acrylonitrile (AN), methyl acrylate (MA) and 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS). For this

High performance mixed bisimide resins and composites based thereon [PDF]

open access: yes, 1986
Mixtures of bismaleimide/biscitraconirnide resins produces materials which have better handling, processing or mechanical and thermal properties, particularly in graphite composites, than materials made with the individual resins. The mechanical strength
