FDG PET/CT imaging and circulating biomarkers of inflammation in desmoplakin cardiomyopathy

Abstract Aims Inflammation has been implicated in the pathogenesis of desmoplakin (DSP) cardiomyopathy, and retrospective studies have described abnormal myocardial fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) findings in symptomatic patients eventually diagnosed with DSP cardiomyopathy.

Cardiovascular toxicity induced by TKIs in patients with chronic myeloid leukaemia: Are women and men different?

This study analyzes 148 patients (66 women and 82 men) with chronic myeloid leukemia treated with tyrosine kinase inhibitors, focusing on cardiovascular adverse events. The risk assessment, performed using the HFA/ICOS score, reveals sex‐specific differences: venous thrombosis is more common in women, while arterial thrombosis predominates in men.

Chemoselective Aldehyde and Imine Reduction by a Macrocyclic Triazole–Borane Complex Triggered by a Non‐innocent Proton–Hydride Interaction

Synthesis of S‐Linked Glycoconjugates of Monosaccharides and Levoglucosenone Derivatives Through Photoinduced Thiol–Ene Reaction Mediated by 4CzIPN and Its Water Soluble Analog

Visible‐light thiol–ene reaction mediated by 4CzIPN enables access to hydrolytically stable S‐linked glycoconjugates from levoglucosenone‐derived thiols (Y = 91% to quant. d.r. = up to >95:5) and conventional thio‐sugars (Y = 80% to quant. d.r. = up to >95:5).
