The recent tectonic activity of eastern Friuli was investigated through a multidisciplinary approach. The study area, which comprises eastern Friuli Plain and the Julian prealpine border, represents the junction zone between the SSE verging front of the Southalpine Chain and the NW-SE trending strike slip structures of the eastern Friuli-western ...

Glavni događaji i stadiji u sedimentarnom razvitku paleogenskog bazena Promine (Dinaridi, Hrvatska)
A study of sedimentary successions in different parts of the Eocene-Oligocene Promina basin has revealed major changes in the evolution of upper Promina Beds (PB). The first one refers to the origin of the erosional surface cutting different units ranging from Cretaceous limestones to different parts of older PB.

Aulotortus ? eotriasicus, n. sp., is a new name for an involutinid Middle Triassic (Anisian) foraminifer of the Dinarids previously described from the same locality of Bosnia•Herzegovina (material J-P. Cadet, sample KDD8) by Bronnimann et al. (1973a) and assigned to Involutina sinuosa pragsoides (Oberhauser, 1964).

The dating of the flysch sediments of the coastal Dinarides is critical for considering the evolution of the Dinaric chain. The flysch of the Pazin Basin, Istria has been considered to be Late Lutetian to Late Eocene in age by many workers. The recently reported Late Oligocene age of a part of this flysch (ŠPARICA et al., 2005) is highly relevant when ...

Geological interpretation of magnetotelluric data in the exploration block Dinaridi-14
7th Croatian Geological Congress with international participation: book of abstracts, 2023Istraživanje ugljikovodika je vrlo zahtjevno i vrlo skupo, pogotovo kada se provodi u terenima kao što su to Dinaridi. S jedne strane, morfološka razvedenost terena otežava bilo kakvo istraživanje, a s druge strane, površinska geološka građa dodatno otežava snimanje seizmičkih podataka kao osnovne metode dubinskog istraživanja u naftnoj industriji ...

Važnost travnjaka planine Obruč (SZ Dinaridi, Hrvatska) u zaštiti prirode
2021Travnjačke površine u području HR2000643 Obruč obuhvaćaju 824 ha i čine ovu planinu iznimnom u ekološkoj mreži Natura 2000 u Primorsko-goranskoj županiji. Ti se travnjaci tradicionalno koriste za transhumantnu ispašu ovaca, a danas se ondje napasaju i konji.

Geokemijska korelacija cenoman/turon matičnih sekvenci u Mediteranu, sjeverna Afrika-Jadran/Dinaridi
2003Geochemical research of Cenomanian/Turonian strata in North Africa and Adriatic/Dinaric area indicate the presence of good source rock sequences with high generative potential. Organic rich strata in the northwestern Africa developed by upwelling systems, however this phenomena gradually decreased along the African coast and completely disappeared in ...
