Capacitor Voltage Balancing of Five Level Diode Clamped Converter based STATCOM
<p>The power quality determines the fitness of the electrical power to the consumer devices. To improve the quality of the power delivered many compensating devices are used. The FACTS devices are normally used to reduce the power quality problems by inducing one or more AC transmission parameters. The static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) can

Emergent Freestanding Complex Oxide Membranes for Multifunctional Applications
This review surveys freestanding oxide membranes and covers fabrication and three pathways for studies and devices: strain‐free and strained membranes, and van der Waals‐integrated heterostructures. We show how coupled oxide responses map onto these routes and cross‐couple to expand behaviors.

Bio‐Based Wax Interfaces for Droplet Energy Harvesting at Fluoropolymer‐Like Output Levels
Replacing unsustainable fluorinated polymers in droplet‐based energy harvesters is usually limited by low power outputs, but carefully selected bio‐based polymers are capable of creating fluoropolymer‐like voltage outputs. Abstract Droplet impact and rebound on solid surfaces has emerged as a promising method for energy harvesting, typically ...
