Bohr sets and multiplicative Diophantine approximation [PDF]
In two dimensions, Gallagher's theorem is a strengthening of the Littlewood conjecture that holds for almost all pairs of real numbers. We prove an inhomogeneous fibre version of Gallagher's theorem, sharpening and making unconditional a result recently obtained conditionally by Beresnevich, Haynes and Velani.

The extensibility of the Diophantine triple {2, b, c}
The aim of this paper is to consider the extensibility of the Diophantine triple {2, b, c}, where 2 < b < c, and to prove that such a set cannot be extended to an irregular Diophantine quadruple.

Exceptional Sets for Diophantine Inequalities [PDF]
We apply Freeman's variant of the Davenport-Heilbronn method to investigate the exceptional set of real numbers not close to some value of a given real diagonal form at an integral argument. Under appropriate conditions, we show that the exceptional set in the interval [-N,N] has measure O(N^{1-c}), for a positive number c.

Emergency shelter materials under a complex non-linear diophantine fuzzy decision support system
The distribution of emergency shelter materials in emergency cases around the world is a hard task, the goal of this research is to offer a Complex Non-linear Diophantine Fuzzy (C-NLDF) decision-making model for earthquake shelter construction ...

Linear Diophantine fuzzy subsets of polygroups
Linear Diophantine fuzzy sets were recently introduced as a generalized form of fuzzy sets. The aim of this paper is to shed the light on the relationship between algebraic hyperstructures and linear Diophantine fuzzy sets through polygroups.

On the existence of $S$-Diophantine quadruples [PDF]
Let $S$ be a set of primes. We call an $m$-tuple $(a_1,\ldots,a_m)$ of distinct, positive integers $S$-Diophantine, if for all $i\neq j$ the integers $s_{i,j}:=a_ia_j+1$ have only prime divisors coming from the set $S$, i.e.

Finiteness results for F-Diophantine sets [PDF]
Diophantine sets, i.e. sets of positive integers A with the property that the product of any two distinct elements of A increased by 1 is a perfect square, have a vast literature, dating back to Diophantus of Alexandria. The most important result states that such sets A can have at most ve elements, and there are only nitely many of them with ve ...
