SNR‐Efficient Inhomogeneous Magnetization Transfer (ihMT) for Clinical Applications at 7 T

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 3, Page 1162-1177, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose Inhomogeneous MT (ihMT) is an MRI modality sensitive to Myelin, the lipid‐rich membrane surrounding the axons. A novel ihMT saturation strategy and its associated B1+ correction at UHF are proposed. The aim is to generate a strong ihMT effect within a clinically compatible scan time while complying with SAR constraints at 7 T.

Contrast Agents for Enhanced Bioimaging: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 13, 14 July 2026.
Contrast agents, especially those that are nanoparticle‐based, are revolutionizing bioimaging by enabling highly sensitive, specific, and early‐stage diagnosis of diseases like cancer, using clinical imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, PET, and SPECT.

Pressure‐Dependent Aromatic Ring Flips Reveal Variable Transition‐State Volume and Compressibility Among Structural Regions of BPTI

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 13, 14 July 2026.
Pressure‐dependent NMR studies of ring flip dynamics reveal an inverse relationship between the activation energy and the activation volume, as well as the isothermal compressibility of the transition state. The results show how side‐chain packing density in the ground and transition states might affect protein dynamics.

Overcoming Computational Bottlenecks in Quantum Hydrodynamics: A Volume‐Based Integral Formalism for Spherical Nanoparticles

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 13, 13 July 2026.
Numerical modeling of mesoscopic material response models that capture the quantum dynamics of electrons does not have to come with discouraging computational bottlenecks. The main message is that through a shift in perspective in modeling toward integral equation methods and exploiting symmetry‐based arguments, it is possible to capture complicated ...

Photonic Doping of Epsilon‐Near‐Zero Bragg Microcavities

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 13, 13 July 2026.
Photonic doping of an epsilon‐near‐zero (ENZ) Bragg microcavity at optical frequencies induces strong magnetic responses from dielectric inclusions, enabling intense field localization, Purcell enhancement, and tunable hybrid Bragg–Mie modes. The platform supports perfect magnetic conductor and epsilon‐and‐mu‐near‐zero regimes, offering opportunities ...
