Magnetic Ordering of Dipolar Systems in the Molecular-Field Approximation
Physical Review B, 1973A quantum-mechanical theory is given for the transition temperature and the nature of the ordered state for a system of spins interacting through general magnetic forces. The transition temperature and the ordered state below it are found to be, respectively, the lowest eigenvalue and the corresponding eigenvector of an Hermitian matrix derived quantum

Dispersive, nonradiative field line resonances in a dipolar magnetic field geometry
Journal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, 1997Results from a numerical study of field line resonances (FLRs), formed by dispersive Alfvén waves standing between southern and northern ionospheres along auroral magnetic field lines, are presented. Dispersion of the Alfvén wave is due to the finite electron inertia at low altitudes and the finite electron temperature at high altitudes.

The non-axial dipolar magnetic field of Mercury
Here,  we use a state-of-art method to diagnose the Mercury’s dipolar field which is assumed to originate from a magnetic dipole. This method can effectively separate and solve the dipole parameters, and gives the error of how much the dataset of sampled magnetic field deviated from the dipole field . By employing this method and theopenaire +1 more source
