The slot antenna with coupled dipoles
IRE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1960The problem of an array consisting of a slot antenna and two symmetrically-located cylindrical dipoles is formulated. The approximate distribution of the current along each antenna is obtained by a method of iteration. The radiation function, the coupling coefficients between the slot and the dipole, the relation between the magnetic current in the ...

Antenna factors of an off-resonant dipole antenna
2012 Conference on Precision electromagnetic Measurements, 2012An off-resonant antenna, such as a shortened dipole is widely used in electromagnetic compatibility measurements due to compactness. The antenna factor of the shorten dipole antenna is ordinary calibrated by comparing that of the standard antenna. However, considerable errors are introduced by applying this method with an insufficient separation due to

A plasma receiving dipole antenna
Plasma Physics Reports, 2010Results from experimental studies of a short-wave plasma dipole transceiver antenna are presented. The efficiency of the plasma receiving antenna is estimated, and the optimal frequency range for excitation and reception under the given experimental conditions is determined.

A Modified Magnetoelectric Dipole Antenna
2019 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting, 2019This paper proposed an antenna for microwave imaging application, which is based on the concept of a kind of magnetoelectric (ME) dipole antenna. The working band is 1.134.91 GHz, with dimension of 64mm×60mm×46mm and good directivity, which is suitable for use in the application of microwave imaging.

Modeling Earth as a Dipole Antenna
2020 IEEE Green Technologies Conference(GreenTech), 2020The Earth has been represented as a simple dipole antenna to better understand how the electromagnetic field(s) envelopes the Earth and radiates into space. There are three electromagnetic patterns that emerge in my model, which correspond to the far radiative field, the near inductive field and a newly defined magnetoquasistatic field.

1980 Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 1980
As electromagnetic energy passes through a planar array of linear dipoles, it undergoes a phase shift which is a function of the operating frequency and the array parameters. This property has been used to design and construct a lightweight zoned microwave lens antenna which has possible spacecraft applications.
