Particle-antiparticle duality from an extra timelike dimension

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2019
It is a well known fact that the usual complex structure on the real Clifford Algebra (CA) of Minkowski spacetime can be obtained by adding an extra time-like dimension, instead of the usual complexification of the algebra. In this article we explore the

Entanglement Swapping for Partially Entangled Qudits and the Role of Quantum Complementarity

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, EarlyView.
The entanglement swapping protocol is extended to partially entangled qudit states and analyzed through complete complementarity relations. Analytical bounds on the average distributed entanglement are established, showing how the initial local predictability and entanglement constrain the operational distribution.

Conformal structure of FLRW cosmology: spinorial representation and the so $$ \mathfrak{so} $$ (2, 3) algebra of observables

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
It was recently shown that the homogeneous and isotropic cosmology of a massless scalar field coupled to general relativity exhibits a new hidden conformal invariance under Mobius transformation of the proper time, additionally to the invariance under ...

Limit Orders and Knightian Uncertainty

open access: yesInternational Economic Review, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A wide variety of financial instruments allows risk‐averse traders to reduce their exposure to risk. This raises the question of what financial instruments allow ambiguity‐averse traders to reduce their exposure to ambiguity. We show in this paper that price‐contingent orders, such as limit orders, are sufficient: In a two‐period trading model,

Tensor Changepoint Detection and Eigenbootstrap

open access: yesJournal of Time Series Analysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Tensor data consisting of multivariate outcomes over the items and across the subjects with longitudinal and cross‐sectional dependence are considered. A completely distribution‐free and tweaking‐parameter‐free detection procedure for changepoints at different locations is designed, which does not require training data.

Dimensional regularization vs methods in fixed dimension with and without γ 5

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We study the Lorentz and Dirac algebra, including the antisymmetric ϵ tensor and the γ 5 matrix, in implicit gauge-invariant regularization/renormalization methods defined in fixed integer dimensions.

Solution of the κ-Deformed Dirac Equation with Vector and Scalar Interactions in the Context of Spin and Pseudospin Symmetries

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2020
The deformed Dirac equation invariant under the κ-Poincaré-Hopf quantum algebra in the context of minimal and scalar couplings under spin and pseudospin symmetry limits is considered.

Renovation of the Standard Model with Clifford-Dirac algebras for chiral-triplets

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
Three repetitive chiral fields of quarks and leptons are bundled to form clusters, called chiral-triplets, in the electroweak symmetric regime. Postulating that each chiral-triplets possesses its own Clifford-Dirac algebra with the common Lorentz ...
