EXTENSION OF TENSOR PRODUCT FOR OPERATORS ON THE DIRAC OPERATOR EXAMPLE [PDF]

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики, 2014
The paper deals with extension method for the operator which is a sum of tensor products. Boundary triplets approach is used. One of the operators is considered to be densely defined and symmetric with equal deficiency indices, the other one is ...

Universal local operator quenches and entanglement entropy

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We present a new class of local quenches described by mixed states, parameterized universally by two parameters. We compute the evolutions of entanglement entropy for both a holographic and Dirac fermion CFT in two dimensions.

Electrically Tunable On‐Chip Topological Photonics with Integrated Carbon Nanotubes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates electrically tunable on‐chip topological THz devices by integrating 2D carbon nanotube (CNT) sheets with valley‐Hall photonic crystals, enabling broadband transmission modulation (71% modulation depth) and tunable narrowband filtering (0.54 GHz shift) through electrically induced thermal tuning. This advancement paves the way for

The Index and Axial Anomaly of a lattice Dirac operator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
A remarkable feature of a lattice Dirac operator is discussed. Unlike the Dirac operator for massless fermions in the continuum, this Ginsparg-Wilson lattice Dirac operator does not possess topological zero modes for any topologically-nontrivial ...

Quantifying Spin Defect Density in hBN via Raman and Photoluminescence Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐optical method is presented for quantifying the density of boron vacancy spin defects in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). By correlating Raman and photoluminescence signals with irradiation fluence, defect‐induced Raman modes are identified and established an relationship linking optical signatures to absolute defect densities. This enables direct

A Fractional Dirac System with Eigenparameter-Dependent and Transmission Conditions

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
This work investigates the fractional Dirac system that has transmission conditions, and its boundary condition contains an eigenparameter. Defining a convenient inner product space and a new operator that has the same eigenvalues as the considered ...

Riemannian foliations and the kernel of the basic Dirac operator

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2012
In this paper, in the special setting of a Riemannian foliation en- dowed with a bundle-like metric, we obtain conditions that force the vanishing of the kernel of the basic Dirac operator associated to the metric; this way we extend the traditional ...

Self-adjointness for Dirac operators via Hardy-Dirac inequalities [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2007
Distinguished self-adjoint extensions of Dirac operators are constructed for a class of singular potentials including Coulombic ones up to (and including) the critical case, −∣x∣−1. The method uses Hardy-Dirac inequalities and quadratic form techniques.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Stability of Relativistic Matter With Magnetic Fields

open access: yes, 1997
Stability of matter with Coulomb forces has been proved for non-relativistic dynamics, including arbitrarily large magnetic fields, and for relativistic dynamics without magnetic fields.
