This study aimed to evaluate the performance of a fast agglutination screening test (FAST) for serodiagnosis of human Leishmania infantum infection in Iran. FAST is based on the direct agglutination test (DAT) but combines with a higher parasite concentration and is performed with only one serum dilution.

Age Estimation From Blood Test Results Using a Random Forest Model
From the perspective of preventive medicine, it is essential to clarify the relationship between medical examination data and aging and health problems. We successfully and accurately estimated age from clinical examination data using a random forest model. Postmenopausal women tended to have higher age estimates than premenopausal women.
