Lignin dispersion in carboxylated nitrile rubber (XNBR) is enhanced at 7% carboxylic acid, significantly improving the composite's compressive mechanical performance for sealing applications. Valorization of Garcinia humilis Residues in Active Collagen/Starch Films for Biodegradable Packaging Applications

Residues from Garcinia humilis were used to obtain a phenolic‐rich extract (GHRE) and incorporated into collagen–starch films. The addition of GHRE improved antioxidant activity, thermal stability and elasticity, while reducing water vapour permeability.
