Direct Seeding in Reforestation – A Field Performance Review
Direct seeding has been considered a forest restoration option for centuries. Over the past half century, the use of this practice has declined in developed countries as forest regeneration programs have advanced with the production of quality seedlings ...

Direct-Seeded Kentucky Coffeetree Seed Tolerance to Preemergent Herbicides [PDF]
Abstract Various soil types (loamy and sandy soils) were seeded with Kentucky coffeetree, treated with preemergent herbicides and grown in the greenhouse to determine their effect on seedling survival and growth. Tested were Lasso (alachlor) at 2.2 (2.0), Tenoran 50W (chloroxuron) at 2.2 (2.0), Dacthal (DCPA) at 11.2 (10.0), Eptam (EPTC) at 4.5

An UAV Direct Seeding Device for Rice Based on EDEM
UAV-based rice direct seeding offers high operational efficiency and reduced labor demand, yet seed distribution uniformity remains a major limitation for centrifugal spreading devices.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Because of labor shortages or resource scarcity, direct seeding is the preferred method for rice (Oryza sativa. L) cultivation, and it necessitates direct seeding at the current density.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Evaluation of the versatile multi-crop planter for establishing sprouted direct-seeded rice
Wetland rice seeding is an increasingly common practice for irrigated and favourable rainfed lowlands. Most developed countries sow rice seed in saturated water to minimize cost and labour requirements (Smith and Show, 1996).
