Mass measuring system using direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS with chaotic spreading codes) technique

open access: closed2015 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Signals, Communication and Optimization (EESCO), 2015
The present article portrays a design and implementation of microcontroller based system for mass measuring system with good accuracy. For maintaining accuracy of the system a novel method is used which is multi channel direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS with chaotic spreading codes) technique which is used as a filter for eliminating low frequency ...

A knowledge-based approach to interference rejection for direct-sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) systems

open access: closed2006 International Waveform Diversity & Design Conference, 2006
Interference rejection techniques need to be employed to insure the proper operation of electronic systems used in a severe electromagnetic interference environment. This paper discusses a knowledge-based interference rejection approach for DSSS systems. This innovative approach uses an expert system so as to monitor the signal environment to determine

An enhanced prediction error filter design for hopped direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) receivers

open access: closedMILCOM 91 - Conference record, 2002
Prediction error filter (PEF) design for narrowband interference (NBI) excision is examined for a hopped direct-sequence spread-spectrum system. The PEF is obtained by application of the Levinson Durbin algorithm (LDA). Several enhancements are utilized: unbiased autocorrelation estimation and normalization.

A Simplified Direct-Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) Multi-User Interference Variance Estimator

open access: closedFourth IEEE Workshop on Sensor Array and Multichannel Processing, 2006., 2006
In the literature many approaches have been reported for calculation of the multi-user interference variance in a direct-sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) system. These approaches are very complicated. In this paper a simplified approach for calculation of the DSSS multi-user interference variance is presented.

Capacity Analysis of Spectrally Overlapping Direct-Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) Channels

open access: closed, 2011
It is well known that cellular business has been increasing exponentially in the last decade. With the huge increase in the number of cellular users, capacity of the existing cellular system has become an issue. In this paper, a novel approach is presented that provides for a significant increase in the number of users in multi-user DSSS systems.

Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) Baseband Transmitter

open access: closed, 2016
As today’s mixed signal chips often require both digital and analog system components on the same substrate, an interesting area of application for silicon nanowire technology is to build a Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) baseband transmitter.
