Rheocasting versus Die Casting: An Insight into the Low‐Cycle Fatigue Behavior of AlSi7Mg0.6
The study compares rheocast lightweight components with high‐pressure die cast materials regarding microstructure and fatigue behavior. Rheocast process offers higher efficiency due to lower casting temperatures. Despite some microstructural differences, both processes show similar strengths (yield strength 125 MPa, tensile strength 240 MPa).

Shear Strength Assessment of Moist Sands Using Direct Shear Tests
Abstract Granular materials are commonly used to backfill buried structures due to its free-draining property and higher shearing resistance. Conventional analysis of soil-structure interaction is performed assuming soil parameters based on typical values available in published literature for the standard and natural soils.

The work demonstrates that strategic wall‐thickness grading in diamond triply periodic minimal surface lattices enables precise tuning of deformation and failure behavior under compression. Different gradation patterns guide how and where the structure collapses, improving energy absorption or promoting controlled brittle failure.
