FLOWS IN MICROCHANNELS

open access: yesTASK Quarterly, 2001
The aim of this paper is to present a survey of the results for the flows of simple gases and liquids with substructure through narrow channels, obtained with the Direct Monte Carlo and Molecular Dynamics Simulation methods.

Synthesis of diamond structures from the coaxial flows of Н2 and Н2+СН4 mixture

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2017
The work presents the results of experiments on the diamond gas-jet synthesis from methane and hydrogen mixture, flowing from coaxial channels under the following conditions: temperature of the hydrogen activating surface of 2400 K, pressure in the ...

Resistance to Overdoping Allows Over 2000 S cm−1 Conductivity in P(g3BTTT) With Anion‐Exchange Doping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.

Monte carlo simulation of siemens oncor linear accelerator with beamnrc and dosxyznrc code

open access: yesJournal of Medical Signals and Sensors, 2013
The Monte Carlo method is the most accurate method for simulation of radiation therapy equipment. The linear accelerators (linac) are currently the most widely used machines in radiation therapy centers.

Stability of Uniform Shear Flow

open access: yes, 1997
The stability of idealized shear flow at long wavelengths is studied in detail. A hydrodynamic analysis at the level of the Navier-Stokes equation for small shear rates is given to identify the origin and universality of an instability at any finite ...

LFA: A Lattice Fourier Analyzer for Quantitative In Situ EC‐STM of Adsorbate–Substrate Superstructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Although electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy provides atomic‐scale access to electrified interfaces, quantitative in situ and operando investigations suffer from drift‐induced distortions. This work introduces the Lattice Fourier Analyzer (LFA), which employs substrate‐anchored affine drift correction in reciprocal space to recover precise ...

Pantera: A PIC-MCC-DSMC software for the simulation of rarefied gases and plasmas

open access: yesSoftwareX
We present Pantera, an open-source, parallel, particle-based code for the simulation of rarefied gases and plasmas. The code uses the Particle-in-Cell (PIC) method for the solution of ionized flows in the electrostatic approximation, coupled to the ...

Magnetically Actuated Drops‐on‐Stilts Microrobots for Transport and Delivery of Hydrophobic Cargo

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Iron oxide nanoparticles and oil droplets in external magnetic fields form “drops‐on‐stilts” microrobots that transport hydrophobic cargo. Tunable nanoparticle–droplet interactions generate stilt‐like structures. Field rotation enables walking, obstacle navigation, and collective motion.
