Predictive Direct Yaw Moment Control Based on the Koopman Operator
IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2023In this brief, we propose a predictive algorithm for direct yaw moment control (DYC) in which a vehicle model is identified by a finite- dimensional approximation of the Koopman operator. The Koopman operator is a linear predictor for nonlinear dynamical systems based on raising the nonlinear dynamics into a higher-dimensional space where its evolution

Improvement of Vehicle Maneuverability by Direct Yaw Moment Control
Vehicle System Dynamics, 1993SUMMARY This paper deals with a study to theoretically formulate an effective method of improving vehicle performance, particularly, its characteristics in the nonlinear region, and to verify the feasibility of the proposed method by calculations and examinations.

Direct Yaw-moment Control Adapted to Driver Behavior Recognition
2006 SICE-ICASE International Joint Conference, 2006This paper proposes direct yaw moment control system (DYC) based on driver intention. Considering driving tasks in lateral motions there are lane keeping lane change and etc. To reflect the driver intention on DYC system two types of desired yaw rate are proposed. One is for the lane keeping control and the other is for vehicle stability control.
