Amplitude Only Direction of Arrival Estimation

open access: yes2023 SBMO/IEEE MTT-S International Microwave and Optoelectronics Conference (IMOC), 2023
In this manuscript, we present a novel hardware concept for the estimation of the direction of arrival of electro-magnetic signals. An arrangement of two patch antenna arrays, tilted with respect to each other, is used to create a monotonic relationship between the DoA and the received power difference between both arrays.

Robust Gravitational Wave Burst Detection and Source Localization in a Network of Interferometers Using Cross Wigner Spectra

open access: yes, 2011
We discuss a fast cross-Wigner transform based technique for detecting gravitational wave bursts, and estimating the direction of arrival, using a network of (three) non co-located interferometric detectors. The performances of the detector as a function

A Simple Cross Correlation Switched Beam System (XSBS) for Angle of Arrival Estimation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
We propose a practical, simple and hardware friendly, yet novel and efficient, angle of arrival (AoA) estimation system. Our intuitive, two-phases cross-correlation-based system requires a switched beam antenna array with a single radio frequency ...

Direction finding by sparse‐based approach for dual‐polarised conformal array in the presence of gain and phase uncertainties

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2023
This article investigates the problem of robust direction‐of‐arrival (DOA) estimation with unknown sensor gain and phase uncertainties. A Dual‐Polarised Regularised Multiple FOCal Underdetermined System Solver is proposed to estimate the 2‐D DOA for the ...

Cdma blind channel equalization: a weighted subsface a proach [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
This paper considers the problem of blind demodulation of multiuser information symbols in a direct-sequence code-division multiple access (DS-CDMA) environment. Channel estimation and symbol detection in the presence of both multiple access interference

Spatially localized direction of arrival estimation

open access: yesProceedings : European Conference on Noise Control, 2018
Direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation is a fundamental area of research in the field of array processing, as it applies in a variety of areas, including: sound field analysis, spatial sound reproduction and spatial filtering. There exists a plethora of DOA estimating algorithms, which all vary in terms of accuracy and computational complexity.

Personalized Selumetinib Dosing in Pediatric Neurofibromatosis Type 1: Insights From a Pilot Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.
