DIRICHLET PROBLEM WITH STOCHASTIC COEFFICIENTS
We consider general second-order linear elliptic partial differential equations having random coefficients and random data and fulfilling the homogeneous Dirichlet condition. We prove the existence and uniqueness of the weak solution in a certain tensor product space which is suitably completed to make it a Hilbert space. The factors of this space are

Abstract When the target parameter for inference is a real‐valued, continuous function of probabilities in the k$$ k $$‐sample multinomial problem, variance estimation may be challenging. In small samples or when the function is nondifferentiable at the true parameter, methods like the nonparametric bootstrap or delta method may perform poorly.

Abstract Numerical interactions leading to users sharing textual content published by others are naturally represented by a network where the individuals are associated with the nodes and the exchanged texts with the edges. To understand those heterogeneous and complex data structures, clustering nodes into homogeneous groups as well as rendering a ...

Abstract Democratic innovations are increasingly used to counteract crisis phenomena such as citizen disengagement or disaffection. But to offer a cure, democratic innovations must be embedded within the democratic system; there must be a healthy “flow in communication” (henceforth: transmissions) between different democratic spaces.

Optimization problems on the Sierpinski gasket
We investigate the existence of an optimal process for such an optimal control problem in which the dynamics is given by the Dirichlet problem driven by weak Laplacian on the Sierpinski gasket.
