Dirichlet Forms Constructed from Annihilation Operators on Bernoulli Functionals

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2017
The annihilation operators on Bernoulli functionals (Bernoulli annihilators, for short) and their adjoint operators satisfy a canonical anticommutation relation (CAR) in equal-time.

An Extension of a Variational Inequality in the Simader Theorem to a Variable Exponent Sobolev Space and Applications: The Dirichlet Case

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2022
In this paper, we shall extend a fundamental variational inequality which is developed by Simader in W1,p to a variable exponent Sobolev space W1,p(·).

Topology and Material Optimization in Ultra‐Soft Magneto‐Active Structures: Making Advantage of Residual Anisotropies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Residual magnetization induces pronounced mechanical anisotropy in ultra‐soft magnetorheological elastomers, shaping deformation and actuation even without external magnetic fields. This study introduces a computational‐experimental framework integrating magneto‐mechanical coupling into topology optimization for designing soft magnetic actuators with ...

Electric‐Current‐Assisted Nucleation of Zero‐Field Hopfion Rings

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports a novel and efficient nucleation protocol for 3D localized topological magnetic solitons‐hopfion rings in chiral magnets using pulsed electric currents. By using Lorentz transmission electron microscopy and topological analysis, we report characteristic features and extraordinary stability of hopfion rings in zero or inverted external

Weak Product Spaces of Dirichlet Series [PDF]

open access: yesIntegral Equations and Operator Theory, 2016
Let $\mathscr{H}^2$ denote the space of ordinary Dirichlet series with square summable coefficients, and let $\mathscr{H}^2_0$ denote its subspace consisting of series vanishing at $+\infty$. We investigate the weak product spaces $\mathscr{H}^2\odot\mathscr{H}^2$ and $\mathscr{H}^2_0\odot\mathscr{H}^2_0$, finding that several pertinent problems are ...

RAMS: Residual‐Based Adversarial‐Gradient Moving Sample Method for Scientific Machine Learning in Solving Partial Differential Equations

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
We propose a residual‐based adversarial‐gradient moving sample (RAMS) method for scientific machine learning that treats samples as trainable variables and updates them to maximize the physics residual, thereby effectively concentrating samples in inadequately learned regions.

A boundary value problem in the hyperbolic space

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 1999
We consider a nonlinear problem for the mean curvature equation in the hyperbolic space with a Dirichlet boundary data g. We find solutions in a Sobolev space under appropriate conditions on g.

Hadamard Multipliers on Weighted Dirichlet Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesIntegral Equations and Operator Theory, 2019
The Hadamard product of two power series is obtained by multiplying them coefficientwise. In this paper we characterize those power series that act as Hadamard multipliers on all weighted Dirichlet spaces on the disk with superharmonic weights, and we obtain sharp estimates on the corresponding multiplier norms. Applications include an analogue of Fej

Recovering a time- and space-dependent kernel in a hyperbolic integro-differential equation from a restricted Dirichlet-to-Neumann Operator

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2004
We prove that a space- and time-dependent kernel occurring in a hyperbolic integro-differential equation in three space dimensions can be uniquely reconstructed from the restriction of the Dirichlet-to-Neumann operator of the equation into a set of ...

The bounded variation capacity and Sobolev-type inequalities on Dirichlet spaces

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
In this article, we consider the bounded variation capacity (BV capacity) and characterize the Sobolev-type inequalities related to BV functions in a general framework of strictly local Dirichlet spaces with a doubling measure via the BV capacity.
