Zener disaccommodation in dilute F.C.C. Co-Ti alloys

open access: closedActa Metallurgica, 1968
Abstract The magnetic disaccommodation, i.e., the time dependence of the low field magnetic permeability, was investigated in cobalt base alloys containing 0–5.1 at.% (0–4.2 wt.%) titanium in the temperature range 400–700°C. A strong temperature dependence of the disaccommodation observed in the range 430–530°C could be accounted for predominantly by

Disaccommodation spectra of single crystal nickel ferrites

open access: closedJournal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1995
Abstract Disaccommodation (DA) spectra for single crystal nickel ferrites of composition Ni x Fe 3− x O 4 with x = 0.9, 1.0 and 1.2 have been measured. Our results are compared with measurements of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) on the same samples.

Disaccommodation of Permeability on CoZrNb Amorphous Thin Films

open access: closedIEEE Translation Journal on Magnetics in Japan, 1987
The deterioration of the permeability of CoZrNb amorphous films is discussed. The permeability was measured using a B-H loop tracer, and the deterioration with heat treatment or aging in ac magnetic fields. Deterioration is more pronounced in thinner films, but no deterioration was observed in samples aged in ac magnetic fields.

Photomagnetic effects and disaccommodation in Co-doped YIG

Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1975
Abstract Y3Fe5O12 (YIG) doped with ≦ 0.01 Co per molecule in combination with small dopes of V or (and) Mn show a decrease of the permeability in the dark (disaccommodation, DA) as well as when irradiated (photomagnetic effect, PE) with white light.

Permeability disaccommodation and structural stability of metallic glasses

open access: closedPhysica Scripta, 1989
Disaccommodation of permeability (DA), in particular the measuring field Hmp corresponding to the maximum of DA, were investigated in connection with structural stability of a λ = 0 metallic glass. Kinetic curves of Hmp for diversely heat treated toroids were measured and qualitatively evaluated to show the physical meaning of Hmp.

Magnetostriction and disaccommodation in Fe85B15

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1996
Abstract The average number of thermally activated ordering processes 〈N〉T as a function of temperature was determined on amorphous Fe85B15 ribbons, in as-cast and annealed states, using the structural model for the disaccommodation. For this purpose measurements of the saturation magnetostriction, disaccommodation and saturation magnetization were ...
