Interactions between sulfated glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and the adhesin OmcB of Chlamydia species are explored using a surface‐based binding assay and cell assays. Increased sulfation and molecular weight enhance GAG binding and reduce bacterial attachment, with heparin exhibiting superior inhibitory effects.
