Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Extremely Pure Mg2FeH6 as a Negative Electrode for Lithium Batteries
Nanocrystalline samples of Mg-Fe-H were synthesized by mixing of MgH2 and Fe in a 2:1 molar ratio by hand grinding (MIX) or by reactive ball milling (RBM) in a high-pressure vial.

II. On stratified discharges. V. Discharge from a condenser of large capacity [PDF]
Abstract The principal object of the following communication is to describe an instrumental arrangement which has proved very convenient for the production of steady striæ. The first attempt which was made nearly two years ago (February, 1876), consisted in charging a Leyden battery of nine large jars by means of an induction coil ...

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

Experimental Study of Discharge Coefficient of Symmetric and Asymmetric Rectangular Labyrinth Weirs
The discharge coefficient of labyrinth weirs increases with increasing the crest length in a certain width range. The present research was carried out in a laboratory flume with a length of 8 m, a width of 0.6 m, and a height of 0.6 m.

Discharge Capacity of Prefabricated Vertical Drain Confined in-clay
This paper reports the long-term discharge capacities of four types of prefabricated vertical drains (PVDs) confined in clay. The results indicate that under clay confinement, the PVD discharge capacities significantly reduced with time. The discharge capacity reduction may be caused by creep deformation of the PVD filter or clogging of the drainage ...

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.
