A Case‐Based Reasoning Approach to Model Manufacturing Constraints for Impact Extrusion
A hybrid modeling approach is presented that combines constraint‐based process modeling and case‐based reasoning. The model formalizes manufacturing constraints and integrates simulation data to model complex manufacturing processes. The approach supports manufacturability analysis during product design through an adaptive modeling environment.

Finite Chaoticity and Pairwise Sensitivity of a Strong-Mixing Measure-Preserving Semi-Flow
Chaos is a common phenomenon in nature and social sciences. As is well known, chaos has multiple definitions, and there are both differences and connections between them.

Energy Levels of "Hydrogen Atom" in Discrete Time Dynamics [PDF]
We analyze dynamical consequences of a conjecture that there exists a fundamental (indivisible) quant of time. In particular we study the problem of discrete energy levels of hydrogen atom. We are able to reconstruct potential which in discrete time formalism leads to energy levels of unperturbed hydrogen atom.

On Nonautonomous Discrete Dynamical Systems [PDF]
We define and study expansiveness, shadowing, and topological stability for a nonautonomous discrete dynamical system induced by a sequence of homeomorphisms on a metric space.

Anomaly Detection Method for Hybrid Workpieces Using Dynamic Time Warping
Monitoring of hybrid workpieces: when machining hybrid workpieces, unavoidable axial deviations of the material transition zone cause temporal shifts in the process force signals. A new anomaly detection method based on dynamic time warping is proposed to detect material defects.

Complexity spectrum of some discrete dynamical systems
We first study birational mappings generated by the composition of the matrix inversion and of a permutation of the entries of $ 3 \times 3 $ matrices. We introduce a semi-numerical analysis which enables to compute the Arnold complexities for all the $9!

Simulation of Inhomogeneous Refractive Index Fields Induced by Hot Tailored Forming Components
This article presents a simulation model for simulating inhomogeneous refractive index fields (IRIF) in hot‐forged components, accounting for thermal influences and complex geometries. Through this simulation, a priori knowledge about the propagation of the IRIF can be obtained, allowing for the positioning of the component or an optical measurement ...

Parallel Dynamical Systems over Graphs and Related Topics: A Survey
In discrete processes, as computational or genetic ones, there are many entities and each entity has a state at a given time. The update of states of the entities constitutes an evolution in time of the system, that is, a discrete dynamical system.

The Ergodicity and Sensitivity of Nonautonomous Discrete Dynamical Systems
Let (E,h1,∞) be a nonautonomous discrete dynamical system (briefly, N.D.D.S.) that is defined by a sequence (hj)j=1∞ of continuous maps hj:E→E over a nontrivial metric space (E,d). This paper defines and discusses some forms of ergodicity and sensitivity

Controller Synthesis for Discrete-Time Polynomial Systems via Occupation Measures
In this paper, we design nonlinear state feedback controllers for discrete-time polynomial dynamical systems via the occupation measure approach. We propose the discrete-time controlled Liouville equation, and use it to formulate the controller synthesis
