A New Pseudo-Spectral Method Using the Discrete Cosine Transform
The pseudo-spectral (PS) method on the basis of the Fourier transform is a numerical method for estimating derivatives. Generally, the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) is used when implementing the PS method. However, when the values on both sides of the

This work pioneers melt electrowriting (MEW) of polyethylene vinyl acetate (PEVA) to fabricate ultra‐compliant, high‐resolution scaffolds. By integrating microscale precision with soft tissue‐like biomechanics, PEVA overcomes stiffness‐driven limitations of conventional MEW polymers, establishing a mechanically biomimetic platform for soft tissue ...

A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

Ionizable lipid nanoparticles target multiple pathological pathways in neurodegeneration. The designed self‐assembled materials undergo a pH‐triggered structural transformation from a cubosome/hexosome coexistence to a hexosome phase, enhancing intracellular delivery of a multi‐target phytochemical formulation. The antioxidant‐loaded pH‐responsive LNPs

Satellite based band features change detection using discrete fractional Fourier transform [PDF]
Changes in earth surface features may occur due to internal or external changes. However, regardless of the origin of the change, detection and monitoring of these changes will contribute to environmental planning for sustainable development and optimal

Metal‐free carbon catalysts enable the sustainable synthesis of hydrogen peroxide via two‐electron oxygen reduction; however, active site complexity continues to hinder reliable interpretation. This review critiques correlation‐based approaches and highlights the importance of orthogonal experimental designs, standardized catalyst passports ...

Solvent‐Free Thermal Defect Engineering in Molecular Frameworks With Volatile Linkers
Thermal removal of neutral volatile linkers enables precise and solvent‐free generation of metal vacancies in MOFs. This strategy affords redox‐stable, coordinatively unsaturated FeII sites with tunable spin, ligand coordination, and catalytic behavior. The approach offers a general route to design defect‐functional materials through local coordination

Sharp error estimates for a discretisation of the 1D convection/diffusion equation with Dirac initial data [PDF]
This paper derives sharp l$\infty$ and l1 estimates of the error arising from an explicit approximation of the constant coefficient 1D convection/diffusion equation with Dirac initial data.
