Mapping continuous potentials to discrete forms [PDF]
The optimal conversion of a continuous inter-particle potential to a discrete equivalent is considered here. Existing and novel algorithms are evaluated to determine the best technique for creating accurate discrete forms using the minimum number of discontinuities.

Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...

Design of Positive, Negative, and Alternating Sign Generalized Logistic Maps
The discrete logistic map is one of the most famous discrete chaotic maps which has widely spread applications. This paper investigates a set of four generalized logistic maps where the conventional map is a special case.

Translating whole‐genome doubling into precision medicine in cancer
Whole‐genome doubling creates a WGD‐positive tumor state characterized by persistent chromosomal instability, karyotypic diversification, and cellular stress. These same biological pressures drive aggressive tumor evolution while exposing therapeutic vulnerabilities, providing a rationale for WGD‐informed precision medicine. Whole‐genome doubling (WGD)

Single‐cell DNA methylation (scDNAme) profiling maps epimutational clonal evolution, revealing mechanisms of malignancy and therapeutic resistance across diverse cancer types. By providing a high‐resolution landscape of intratumoral heterogeneity, these technologies empower precise patient stratification, guide the development of enhanced ...

Wāhi, a discrete global grid gazetteer built using linked open data
Discrete global grid systems have become an important component of Digital Earth systems. However, previously there has not existed an easy way to map between named places (toponyms) and the cells of a discrete global grid system. The lack of such a tool

This study identifies somatostatin receptor 4 (Sstr4) as a critical tumor suppressor against skin and head/neck cancers (HNSCC, cSCC, and BCC). The loss of Sstr4 removes a check on cell growth, causing hyperactivation of the MAPK‐ERK signaling pathway (↑).

A New Fractional Discrete Memristive Map with Variable Order and Hidden Dynamics
This paper introduces and explores the dynamics of a novel three-dimensional (3D) fractional map with hidden dynamics. The map is constructed through the integration of a discrete sinusoidal memristive into a discrete Duffing map.

ADP‐ribosylation: An emerging regulator of the epigenome
ADP‐ribosylation has emerged as a dynamic epigenetic signaling mechanism that modifies histones and chromatin‐associated proteins. Through coordinated PARylation and MARylation, it integrates with other histone modifications to regulate chromatin structure, transcription factor activity, and gene expression, influencing genome function and disease ...
