Continuous and discrete dynamical sampling [PDF]
In this paper we study the continuous dynamical sampling problem at infinite time in a complex Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$. We find necessary and sufficient conditions on a bounded linear operator $A\in\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$ and a set of vectors $\mathcal{G}\subset \mathcal{H}$, in order to obtain that $\{e^{tA}g\}_{g\in\mathcal{G}, t\in[0,\infty)}$

On recursive expressions for statistics of decimated sequences
In what follows we introduce the recursive approach for calculating statistical moments of decimated realizations. We prove the corollaries referring to recursive calculation and present an example for any realization of 17 sample.

Succinct sampling from discrete distributions [PDF]
We revisit the classic problem of sampling from a discrete distribution: Given n non-negative w-bit integers x1,..,xn, the task is to build a data structure that allows sampling i with probability proportional to xi. The classic solution is Walker's alias method that takes, when implemented on a Word RAM, O(n) preprocessing time, O(1) expected query ...

Acoustic Localization for a Moving Source Based on Cross Array Azimuth
Acoustic localization for a moving source plays a key role in engineering applications, such as wildlife conservation and health protection. Acoustic detection methods provide an alternative to traditional radar and infrared detection methods.

Filtering Property of Signal Sampling in General and Under-Sampling as a Specific Operation of Filtering Connected with Signal Shaping at the Same Time [PDF]
In this paper, we show that signal sampling operation can be considered as a kind of all-pass filtering in the time domain, when the Nyquist frequency is larger or equal to the maximal frequency in the spectrum of a signal sampled.

Multiloop Multirate Continuous-Discrete Drone Stabilization System: An Equivalent Single-Rate Model
The article discusses the UAV lateral motion stabilization system, as a MIMO multiloop multirate continuous-discrete system, specified in the form of an input–output model in the domain of discrete Laplace transform or in the form of a structural diagram.

Robust Adaptive Beamforming Based on Low-Complexity Discrete Fourier Transform Spatial Sampling
In this paper, a novel and robust algorithm is proposed for adaptive beamforming based on the idea of reconstructing the autocorrelation sequence (ACS) of a random process from a set of measured data.

Sampling Discretization of the Uniform Norm
Discretization of the uniform norm of functions from a given finite dimensional subspace of continuous functions is studied. We pay special attention to the case of trigonometric polynomials with frequencies from an arbitrary finite set with fixed cardinality.
