This study explores the mechanical performance of three auxetic structures, identifying a re‐entrant‐star hybrid as the most effective for impact absorption. Finite element simulations and experiments demonstrate significant gains in energy absorption and flexural strength after geometric optimization. This study investigates the mechanical performance

Dynamical R-Matrices for Integrable Maps
The integrability of two symplectic maps, that can be considered as discrete-time analogs of the Garnier and Neumann systems is established in the framework of the $r$-matrix approach, starting from their Lax representation.

NEW HYDROGENOXALATO ADDUCTS AND MALONATO COMPLEX: SYNTHESIS AND SPECTROSCOPIC STUDIES
Two new hydrogenoxalato and one malonato adduct and complex have been synthesized and studied by infrared and NMR spectroscopies. The suggested structures are discrete, the hydrogenoxalate behaving as a monodentate ligand or only involved in hydrogen ...

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Adaptable Tile‐Based Pneumatic Origami through Structurally Coupled Localized Actuation
This article presents tile‐based pneumatic origami structures with rigid tiles and flexible fabric creases, achieving adaptable properties including morphing shape, selective multistability, and tunable stiffness. Independently pressurized folding bladders at each crease enable structurally coupled localized actuation of origami structures.

PHOSPHATO AND PHOSPHONATO ADDUCTS: SYNTHESIS AND SPECTROSCOPIC STUDY
Two new adducts have been synthesized and studied by infrared and NMR spectroscopy. The suggested structures are discrete or of infinite chain type with a phosphate behaving as a bidentate ligand, a phosphonate acting as a monodentate ligand, the ...

Compatibility conditions for discrete planar structures
Compatibility conditions are investigated for planar network structures consisting of nodes and connecting bars; these conditions restrict the elongations of bars and are analogous to the compatibility conditions of deformation in continuum mechanics. The requirement that the deformations remain planar imposes compatibility.
