Review of cognitive diagnostic models (CDMs): Recent methodological advancements for addressing practical challenges

open access: yesBritish Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Cognitive diagnostic models (CDMs) have become essential tools for providing fine‐grained information about individuals' mastery of cognitive skills. While prior reviews have emphasized statistical foundations and deep learning‐based developments, this article focuses on recent methodological innovations designed to address persistent ...

Interlaboratory performance testing on EPIC v2.0 CNS tumor profiling demonstrates high reproducibility of tumor classification but reveals the need for harmonized copy number variation reporting

open access: yesBrain Pathology, EarlyView.
Using the Infinium MethylationEPIC v2.0 array and Heidelberg Brain Tumor Classifier v12.8, 24 international laboratories achieved highly reproducible CNS tumor classification (97.9% correct; median β‐correlation r = 0.99), while copy number variation interpretation showed substantial interlaboratory variability, highlighting the need for harmonized CNV

Survey on Visualization of Information Diffusion over Networks

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Information Diffusion (ID) describes how a value (e.g., a pathogen, a rumor, a packet) spreads through an underlying “medium” network of elements (e.g., a social or computer network). Understanding the information diffusion process is essential to predicting trends, controlling misinformation, and enhancing decision‐making as well as ...

Residual finiteness and discrete subgroups of Lie groups

open access: yes
Let $G$ be a real Lie group and $Γ< G$ be a discrete subgroup of $G$. Is $Γ$ residually finite? This paper describes known positive and negative results then poses some questions whose answers will lead to a fairly complete answer for lattices.

From trade‐offs to trade: The effects of framing and social norms on waste supply chain coordination

open access: yesDecision Sciences, EarlyView.
Abstract The world generates substantial waste that could serve as feedstock, but often inefficiencies in waste exchange arise, caused by a lack of coordination among companies. When trading waste reuse, negotiators must manage the trade‐offs between supply chain, personal, and environmental outcomes. Unlike studies focusing on monetary incentives (e.g.

The Spinal Muscular Atrophy Functional Classification System

open access: yesDevelopmental Medicine &Child Neurology, EarlyView.
The Spinal Muscular Atrophy Functional Classification System (SMAFCS) is a new four‐level functional mobility classification for spinal muscular atrophy, derived from Hammersmith Functional Motor Scale Expanded (HFMSE) thresholds and Functional Mobility Scale (FMS) groupings.

Sleep disturbances in children with cerebral palsy, their siblings, and parents: A qualitative descriptive study

open access: yesDevelopmental Medicine &Child Neurology, EarlyView.
Children with cerebral palsy who experienced clinically significant sleep disturbances, their parents, and their siblings, were interviewed to understand the impact of sleep disturbance on the whole family. Six themes were identified, demonstrating the need for tailored, multidisciplinary, holistic sleep assessment and intervention, and family support.

To Treat or Not to Treat: Navigating Early‐Stage CLL in the Era of Targeted Therapy

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is most frequently diagnosed at early, asymptomatic stages (Rai 0/Binet A), in which a watch‐and‐wait strategy remains the standard of care, based on historical trials demonstrating no overall survival benefit from early treatment.

Parental Perfectionism, Helicopter Parenting, and Adjustment in Adolescents Identified as Gifted: A Dyadic Model

open access: yesFamily Relations, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Parenting behaviors play a critical role in shaping adolescents' psychological well‐being. However, few studies have simultaneously examined both adolescents identified as gifted and their parents, leaving parent–adolescent discrepancies underexplored.

Bioimpedance and Symptom Guided Fluid Management in Hemodialysis: A Multicenter Pre–Post Implementation Study

open access: yesHemodialysis International, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Optimizing volume status is central to hemodialysis care and may influence patient‐reported outcome measures as recovery time. We evaluated the implementation of a structured decision aid (Recova) integrating symptom assessment with bioimpedance spectroscopy in routine hemodialysis practice.
