A Discrete Theory of Connections on Principal Bundles
Connections on principal bundles play a fundamental role in expressing the equations of motion for mechanical systems with symmetry in an intrinsic fashion.

Creation of topological states of a Bose-Einstein condensate in a plaquette
We study a square plaquette of four optical microtraps containing ultracold $^{87}$Rb atoms in F=1 hyperfine state. In a presence of external resonant magnetic field the dipolar interactions couple initial $m_F=1$ component to other Zeeman sublevels ...

Microsphere Autolithography—A Scalable Approach for Arbitrary Patterning of Dielectric Spheres
MicroSphere Autolithography (µSAL) enables scalable fabrication of patchy particles with customizable surface motifs. Focusing light through dielectric microspheres creates well defined, tunable patches via a conformal poly(dopamine) photoresist. Nearly arbitrary surface patterns can be achieved, with the resolution set by the index contrast between ...

Addressing neutrino mixing models with DUNE and T2HK
We consider schemes of neutrino mixing arising within the discrete symmetry approach to the well-known flavour problem. We concentrate on $$3\nu $$ 3ν mixing schemes in which the cosine of the Dirac CP violation phase $$\delta _{\mathrm {CP}}$$ δCP ...

A dual‐binder dry‐processed electrode (DB‐DPE) combining PTFE and PVDF with a nanostructured Al current collector (NSA) forms a mechanically interlocked interface that significantly improves adhesion and reduces interfacial resistance. With an active material content as high as 96 wt.%, the NSA‐based DB‐DPE enables high‐mass‐loading operation (12.5 mAh

Controlled laser‐drilling of embedded HfO2 membranes creates three layer nanopores with Gaussian‐shaped cavities sculptured in the supporting layers. These embedded solid‐state nanopores slow DNA translocation by 12‐fold compared to SiNx pores, enabling high‐resolution, label‐free detection of short DNAs, RNAs, and proteins.
