Efficient Charge Transport in Zero‐Dimensional Perovskite for Ultrahigh‐Sensitivity X‐Ray Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel mono‐octahedral 0D Bi‐based Dpy3Bi2I12 perovskite strengthens the internal hydrogen bonds and forms a quasi‐2D lattice, exhibits exceptional charge transport and mobility, achieving high X‐ray sensitivity and ultralow‐dose imaging, and setting a new benchmark for 0D detector performance.

The Cuttlebone Blueprint for Multifunctional Metamaterials: Design Taxonomy, Functional Decoupling, and Future Horizons

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Cuttlebone‐inspired metamaterials exploit a septum‐wall architecture to achieve excellent mechanical and functional properties. This review classifies existing designs into direct biomimetic, honeycomb‐type, and strut‐type architectures, summarizes governing design principles, and presents a decoupled design framework for interpreting multiphysical ...

Finite modular majoron

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We point out that the accidental U(1) B−L symmetry can arise from a finite modular symmetry Γ N in the type-I seesaw. The finite modular symmetry is spontaneously broken in such a way that the residual ℤ N T $$ {\mathbb{Z}}_N^T $$ discrete symmetry ...

Discrete Symmetries and Clifford Algebras

open access: yesInternational Journal of Theoretical Physics, 2001
An algebraic description of basic discrete symmetries (space reversal P, time reversal T and their combination PT) is studied. Discrete subgroups of orthogonal groups of multidimensional spaces over the fields of real and complex numbers are considered in terms of fundamental automorphisms of Clifford algebras.

Multibit Ferroelectric HfZrO Memcapacitor for Non‐Volatile Analogue Memory and Reconfigurable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric memcapacitors enable non‐volatile, voltage‐programmable capacitance tuning for adaptive electronics. A TiN/HfZrO/TiN device stack demonstrates more than eight stable capacitance states within a 24 pF memory window in compact 60 ×$\times$ 60 μm2$\umu{\rm m}^{2}$ devices at low operating voltages.

Fusion category symmetry. Part I. Anomaly in-flow and gapped phases

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We study generalized discrete symmetries of quantum field theories in 1+1D generated by topological defect lines with no inverse. In particular, we describe ’t Hooft anomalies and classify gapped phases stabilized by these symmetries, including new 1+1D ...

Heavy axions from twin dark sectors with θ¯-characterized mirror symmetry

open access: yesNuclear Physics B
The QCD Lagrangian contains a CP violating gluon density term with a physical coefficient θ¯. The upper bound on the electric dipole moment of neutron requires the value of θ¯ to be extremely small. The tiny θ¯ is commonly known as the strong CP problem.

Multivalent Protein Nanorings for Broad and Potent SARS‐CoV‐2 Neutralization

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A protein‐only, modular multivalent nanoscaffold displaying 20 anchor points, decorated with two different binders (10 of each), targeting the SARS‐CoV‐2 receptor‐binding domain is presented. The construct self‐assembles into stable, biocompatible, homogeneous nanoparticles, exhibit synergistic binding with fM IC50 values. It also detects spike at 9 ng
