On computing the Discrete Fourier Transform [PDF]
New algorithms for computing the Discrete Fourier Transform of n points are described. For n in the range of a few tens to a few thousands these algorithms use substantially fewer multiplications than the best algorithm previously known, and about the same number of additions.

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Discrete Wavelet Transform [PDF]
In general, discrete wavelet transforms are generated by samplings (in the time-scale plane) of a rorn sponding continuous wavelet transform.

The multiplicative complexity of discrete cosine transforms
We obtain the multiplicative complexity of discrete cosine transforms in all cases. It is given as a function of the multiplicative complexity of discrete Fourier transforms.

On the discrete and continuous Miura chain associated with the sixth Painlev equation [PDF]
A Miura chain is a (closed) sequence of differential (or difference) equations that are related by Miura or B\"acklund transformations. We describe such a chain for the sixth Painlev\'e equation (\pvi), containing, apart from \pvi itself, a Schwarzian ...

ABSTRACT Background Emerging evidence suggests that low‐frequency neural oscillations are dynamically regulated by consciousness levels, with the recovery of low cortical activity potentially serving as a neurophysiological substrate for conscious emergence. Targeted enhancement of these low‐frequency rhythms in patients with disorders of consciousness

Exploring discrete wavelet transforms for bimodal speech recognition [PDF]
Discrete Wavelet Transforms (DWTs) provide time–frequency representations that are well suited for nonstationary signals such as speech. This study presents a comparison of four wavelet families (Daubechies, Symlets, Coiflets, and Biorthogonal) for ...
