Entanglement Renormalization for Quantum Field Theories with Discrete Wavelet Transforms

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We propose an adaptation of Entanglement Renormalization for quantum field theories that, through the use of discrete wavelet transforms, strongly parallels the tensor network architecture of the Multiscale Entanglement Renormalization Ansatz (a.k.a ...

The Discrete Wavelet Transform

open access: yes, 2021
In this thesis we will explore the theory behind wavelets. The main focus is on the discrete wavelet transform, although to reach this goal we will also introduce the discrete Fourier transform as it allow us to derive important properties related to wavelet theory, such as the multiresolution analysis. Based on the multiresolution it will be shown how

Microstructured Electrode‐Piezopolymer Interface for Ultrasound Transducers With Enhanced Flexibility and Acoustic Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Flexible piezopolymer ultrasound transducers are engineered by tailoring the electrode–piezopolymer interface using metallic, flake‐based, and porous graphene electrodes. Laser‐induced graphene's porous structure enables polymer infiltration, strengthening interfacial coupling and enhancing piezoelectric response and acoustic output.

The Evolution of Laser‐Induced Damage Patterns in Polymer Stabilized Liquid Crystals: Insights From Morphological Characterization and Thermo‐Driven Simulations

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐domain PSLC architecture enables direct comparison of alignment‐dependent laser damage within a single device. Crack‐like and seal‐like morphologies emerge under different damage conditions, and their evolution is interpreted through quantitative image analysis and heat‐driven simulations.
