Discrimination Nets as Psychological Models* [PDF]
Simulations of human cognitive processes often employ discrimination nets to model the access of permanent memory. We consider two types of discrimination nets—EPAM and positive‐proper‐only nets—and argue that they have insufficient psychological validity.
