8‐Oxoguanine Modified CircMTUS1 Drives PABPC1 Phase Separation to Promote Gastric Cancer Progression and Cisplatin Resistance via Autophagy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Gastric cancer (GC) is a major global health concern, as its prevention and treatment remain significant challenges. The 8‐oxoguanine (o8G) modification of circRNAs, alongside their capacity to orchestrate liquid‐liquid phase separation (LLPS) and autophagy, plays a pivotal role in driving tumor progression and determining therapeutic outcomes.

Nucleoside‐Modified mRNA Encoding Alpha‐Galactosidase A Ameliorates Fabry Disease Phenotypes in Human IPSC‐Derived Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Human iPSC‐derived Fabry cardiomyocytes exhibited broad transcriptional dysregulation, apoptosis, mitochondrial dysfunction, impaired reactive oxygen species handling, altered contractility, and abnormal calcium transient decay, potentially mediated by phospholamban hyperphosphorylation.

Diagnosis of neglected tropical diseases among patients with persistent digestive disorders (diarrhoea and/or abdominal pain ≥14 days) : Pierrea multi-country, prospective, non-experimental case-control study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Diarrhoea still accounts for considerable mortality and morbidity worldwide. The highest burden is concentrated in tropical areas where populations lack access to clean water, adequate sanitation and hygiene.

Autophagy Orchestrates Anti‐Tumor Immunity to Enhance Chemosensitivity via the FBXW2/C/EBPβ/TIMP‐2 Axis in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy leverages tumor‐cell autophagy to reshape the colorectal cancer immune microenvironment. Autophagy degrades FBXW2 to promote C/EBPβ‐mediated TIMP‐2 transcription and MMP‐9 suppression, driving intra‐tumoral CD8+ T‐cell infiltration. Targeting MMP‐2/9 or restoring TIMP‐2 overcomes chemo‐resistance in autophagy‐deficient tumors. ABSTRACT The

Spatiotemporal Multi‐Omic Mapping Reveals Liver‐Muscle Metabolic Crosstalk in Cancer Cachexia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The interactive CCAtlas platform delineates cross‐species, spatiotemporal, and sex‐specific molecular dynamics and metabolic rewiring across organs during cancer cachexia. Hepatic Gamt downregulation curtails hepatic creatine synthesis to trigger systemic creatine insufficiency and consequent skeletal muscle atrophy in LLC tumour‐bearing mice ...
