A Single‐Cell Transcriptome Atlas Characterizes the Immune Landscape of Human Testes During Aging

open access: yesAging Cell, EarlyView.
This study utilized single‐cell RNA sequencing to analyze immune cells in 33 human testis samples (ages 21–69). We found age‐related alterations in monocytes and MRC1hi TRM, with shifts in phagocytosis, cytokine, and antigen presentation, contributing to low‐grade inflammation in aging. These findings provide insights into immune aging in human testis.
