Microfluidic Line-Free Mass Sensor Based on an Antibody-Modified Mechanical Resonator
This research proposes a mass sensor based on mechanical resonance that is free from power supply lines (line-free) and incorporates both microfluidic mechanisms and label-free techniques to improve its sensitivity and reusability.

Ultra‐Confinement of Polaritons in Single Atomic Layer Ag Photonic Quantum Dots
Strong confinement of surface phonon polaritons of silicon carbide was achieved in photonic quantum dots fabricated from van der Waals heterostructure of epitaxial graphene over single‐atomic layer silver. Scattering‐type scanning near‐field optical microscopy combined with an analytical approach, developed to reveal local propagation constants with ...

PROTOPLANETARY DISK RESONANCES AND TYPE I MIGRATION [PDF]
Waves reflected by the inner edge of a protoplanetary disk are shown to significantly modify Type I migration, even allowing the trapping of planets near the inner disk edge for small planets in a range of disk parameters. This may inform the distribution planets close to their central stars, as observed by the Kepler mission.

Thin-disk laser – Power scaling to the kW regime in fundamental mode operation
A significant reduction of the influence of the thermal lens in thin-disk lasers in high power laser operation mode could be achieved, using dynamically stable resonators. For designing the resonator, investigations of thermally induced phase distortions

This study examines how a PVDF‐like binder affects the argyrodite Li6PS5Cl electrolyte properties. Using an approach that combines bulk and surface characterization with electrochemistry, we found a chemical interaction between Li6PS5Cl and PVDF, resulting in partial chlorine substitution by fluorine and slightly reduced ionic conductivity.

Advanced Design for Weakly Coupled Resonators by Automatic Active Optimization
An Automatic Active Optimization (AAO) strategy integrates machine learning predictors and genetic algorithms in a closed‐loop workflow. By iteratively expanding its dataset with new discoveries, AAO overcomes the limits of conventional methods. This approach finds superior microstructural designs beyond the initial sample space. We demonstrate this on
