The Regulation of Trace Metal Elements in Cancer Ferroptosis
The induction of ferroptosis inhibits tumor growth, enhances anticancer efficacy, and overcomes drug resistance. Recent evidence shows nonferrous metal elements play a role in ferroptosis. This review focuses on how trace metals regulate ferroptosis processes like iron accumulation, lipid peroxidation, and antioxidant defense.

Bending-induced deformation twinning in body-centered cubic tungsten nanowires
The competition between dislocation slip and deformation twinning in body-centered cubic (BCC) nanocrystals can be strongly influenced by the deformation conditions.

Anomalies in Deformation Behaviour of TiAl Intermetallic
An explanation was proposed for a nonmonotonic temperature dependence of the yield stress σy(T) in TiAl having two extrema where σy(T) changes its temperature behaviour.

Fecal Microbiota Transplantation Modulates Th17/Treg Balance via JAK/STAT Pathway in ARDS Rats
Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) alleviates lung and intestinal injury in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐induced acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in rats. This study demonstrates that FMT restores the balance between Th17 and Treg cells, inhibits the JAK/STAT pathway, and modulates cytokine levels, reducing inflammation and lung damage. These

A detailed workflow for recombinant GALC production and characterization is presented to support enzyme replacement therapy for Krabbe disease. In vitro assays demonstrate that physiological GALC doses restore enzymatic activity and autophagic flux without affecting cell viability, whereas higher doses impair autophagy and reduce viability.

DUAL MOBILITY CUPS REDUCE DISLOCATION RATE IN TOTAL HIP ARTHROPLASTY FOR DISPLACED FEMORAL NECK FRACTURES [PDF]
PURPOSE: To assess the dislocation rate after total hip arthroplasty with dual mobility cup (DMC) for displaced femoral neck fractures and to compare the results with that of conventional total hip arthroplasty (THA) and bipolar hemiarthroplasty (BHA) in
